14kt Rolled Gold/Gold-Filled (14kt GF) refers to the process by which a layer of 14kt gold is mechanically bonded under heat and pressure to a copper and zinc alloy, then rolled or drawn to a given thickness. The finished wire is 1/20th of 14kt gold (also known as 14/20) and has a surface layer of gold that is 100 times thicker than gold plate, gold electroplate, or rolled gold plate.

Our wire is made for us by one of the leading gold refining companies in the USA according to our specifications to ensure its beauty and durability. Rolled Gold/Gold-Filled items are considered life-time products, and the gold layer will not wear off, as it will in electroplated products.

Our Sterling Silver (SS) wire is also made in the USA . It contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, which is the industry standard.
